ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

What is the mission of the Brazoria County Fair Association?

The Brazoria County Fair Association's purpose is to provide opportunities for Brazoria County Youth to gain educational experiences through exhibition of livestock, art, science, rodeo, and other youth related projects. These experiences provide an opportunity for youth to gain financial support for higher education through the sales of these projects and through the BCFA Scholarship program.

What type of educational support does BCFA provide?

Since it's inception, 83 years ago, BCFA has generously awarded more than $3 million in higher education scholarships. We also facilitate approximately $500k annually through our 4 auctions that gets funneled back to the exhibitors. Annually, we give $1.25 million back to Brazoria County Youth and non- profits.

Is the Brazoria County Fair Association a charity?

The Brazoria County Fair Association is a Section 501(c)(3) charity that benefits youth, supports education, and facilitates better agricultural through exhibitions and presentation.

How do volunteers fit into the Brazoria County Fair Association?

The Brazoria County Fair Association only has 4 employees. The rest of our workforce is made up solely of Committee members.
Each Committee member donates an average of 55 hours of service to BCFA annually. Every single zip code in Brazoria County has committee members living in its neighborhoods.

When is the World Class BBQ Cook-Off Contest?

When is the Parade and how can I enter?

When are the Livestock shows held?

When is the CPRA Finals Rodeo?

The 2021 CPRA Finals are scheduled to be held in the Jack Phillips Rodeo Arena as follows:
Friday, Oct 15th at 6:00 pm
Saturday, Oct 16th at 6:00 pm
Sunday, Oct 17th at 1:00 pm

What the hours the admission gates will be open for the 2021 BCFA Fair?

Weekday 9 am - 11 pm
