Youth Advisory Council

The Brazoria County Fair Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a youth leadership development organization sponsored by the Brazoria County Fair Association, members and the community. YAC’s mission is to make a positive impact to the Fair and the youth of Brazoria County by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through participation in Fair activities. Membership is comprised of youth representing all Brazoria County high schools, 4-H, FFA and the community.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Enrolled in high school for the 2019-2020 school year
- Passing all classes
- Must be a BCFA exhibitor (Youth Horse Show, Photography, Student Art, Livestock, etc.)
If potential member is not an exhibitor, they must have a family member that is an exhibitor.
- Able to serve as a YAC member for a full calendar year
- Parents/Guardians must be members of the Brazoria County Fair Association (annual or lifetime)
To be considered for the Youth Advisory Council, please submit:
- Completed application
- (1) recommendation letter written by an adult advisor
- Written/signed approval from parents/guardians
DEADLINE: May 1, 2020 by 5:00pm
